Mary Kathryn Carpenter Haynie began working as a professional photographer before she even arrived as a student at The University of Alabama. For nearly a decade now, she has shot UA grad sessions, weddings, and branding photography for hundreds of clients in Tuscaloosa and throughout the Southeast.

MK helped establish the Bama Grad Directory to help Tuscaloosa photographers form a close-knit community and help UA grads find their right photographer.

The Studio has been a longtime dream of MK’s. When the current space opened up in downtown Tuscaloosa, it seemed like the perfect spot and the perfect time to turn that dream into a reality.
